The Collect Phase
The collect phase is typically where you identify the types of customers and individuals you are hoping to attract and then target those demographics with your conventional marketing advertisements. While these efforts will likely gain you some beneficial sales, the goal here is to create interactive engagement, so your marketing should try to encourage these customers to interact with your website.
Promotional offers through social media and informative blog posts can be particularly helpful in this phase. Offers such as “premium content” or “bonus offers” can be very effective at getting your customers to sign up for your email list, which helps you engage with them incredibly easily and regularly through simple automation software.
The Convert Phase
During the convert phase you want to show your clients that you are the obvious best choice over your competitors. Frequent engagement to promote interaction and reminders of limited-time or exclusive member offers are fantastic ways to help “convert” your customer. Keep track of which offers do the best with your clients to help you create more attractive future benefits for them to take advantage of.
The Create Phase
The create phase is the endgame of product fulfilment. You have already attracted the interested clients. Now is where your product itself gets to shine. You deliver the promised materials and it's your product's strengths that will impress the customer. Continue to develop your offers and tactics to generate interest with your client so they will automatically think of you when they next need a similar item or service.
The referral can be an incredibly powerful tool in growing a recurring customer base. People trust their friends, so if your client has a friend looking for a new item that you sell, you want your customer to be so impressed with your products, promotions, and business that they will immediately recommend you by talking about how much your product and company have helped them. You can help capitalize on this more actively by offering referral bonuses or referral discounts to your returning customer and/or the new customer. Don't underestimate how powerful referrals can be!
This idea of lifecycle marketing ( www.drumroll/lifecycle-marketing ) is to develop a cycle of customer growth and customer loyalty and can be critical to developing new services and new products. Engage with your customers, encourage their input, and listen to it in order to develop new strategies and ideas (both in product development and marketing). The overall goal of lifecycle marketing isn't to create a sale. It's creating a web or network of recurring sales that grow your brand and your profits to help you dominate your industry's market.
